White Dancing Catkins
From: Dàgē
“I attended university in Beijing, where willow catkins are a common sight in spring. From March to April, they swirl through the air everywhere. During that time, almost every evening, I would stroll with friends on the campus grounds. Catkins danced under the lamplight and occasionally landed on us. I would gather them into small bundles. These white seeds became a symbol of spring in Beijing in my memory.”
