“In an ordinary Chinese household, one of the seven essentials upon opening the door (firewood, rice, oil, salt, sauce, vinegar, tea) is tea drinking. Chinese tea culture has a long and profound history. When it comes to drinking tea, tea cups are essential. This porcelain cup originates from Jingdezhen, renowned as the capital of Chinese ceramics. Jingdezhen's porcelain industry has a history of thousands of years, famous for its white porcelain known as white as jade, bright as a mirror, thin as paper, and resonant as a chime.

This tea cup is a gift for our tenth wedding anniversary. In Chinese, the pronunciation of "一个杯子" (yī gè bēizi, meaning "a cup") is very similar to "一辈子" (yī bèizi, meaning "a lifetime"). Therefore, giving a cup as a gift carries the connotation of a lifelong commitment or promise.”Our journey together hasn't been easy, and we have both invested a lot in this relationship. Especially my wife, who has selflessly dedicated herself to our family and our happiness. I am particularly grateful to her. That's why I treasure this cup so much.”
