“Class 3, Grade 6, Group 1, Team 2's
Recurring Diary”
From: Honglin Qi & Zengyi Zhou & Daweiqi Deng & Lingxiao Zhou
“Looking back, a few friends who were inseparable, formed a diary team prompted by our class teacher's call for a recurring diary activity. Each day, our teacher would grade entries based on our writing style, ranking and rewarding the whole class accordingly. However, our subgroup, Team Two, established rules from the outset: write only what we wanted, without concern for grades. Thus began the diary that now almost entirely recounts our elementary school lives in a "full documentary" style. Many of the words now take me back to those scenes vividly. Fortunately, with the support of my friends, I was able to bring the diary home upon graduation, where it has found a place on my shelf for 12 years now. The childhood daily records noted during future class reunions are sure to become cherished tales.”
